一．Product introduction

SEBS is a linear terromer with polystyrene as the terminal segment and ethylene-butene copolymer with polybutadiene hydrogenation as the intermediate elastic block. SEBS contains no unsaturated and double bonds, so it has good stability and aging resistance.

 

二. Purpose of SEBS:

1.SEBS has good uv stability, oxygen resistance and thermal stability, so it can also be used in roofing and road repairing asphalt.

2.SEBS is miscible with paraffin, so it can be used for flexible surface coating of paper products.

3.SEBS is temperature-insensitive without obvious shear flow during heating, so it can be used as a template for IPN. (basic principle of IPN: two insoluble polymers can achieve mutual penetration of the entangled chain segments. For example, two insoluble polymers can be "locked" together by cross-linking through covalent bonds.)

4. The organic solution of SEBS oil blend can substitute for natural rubber latex to manufacture surgical gloves and other products.SEBS has the following two advantages due to its lack of unsaturated double bond and high purity :(1) good oxygen resistance and ozone resistance; (2) while natural rubber contains proteins that can cause dangerous allergic reactions in some patients, this blend does not.

三、Specific performance of SEBS:

With excellent aging resistance, SEBS has both plasticity and high elasticity. It can be processed and used without vulcanization. The leftover material can be used heavily. SEBS has good weather resistance, heat resistance, compression deformation resistance and excellent mechanical properties:

（1）Better temperature resistance, its embrittlement temperature ≤-60℃, the highest use temperature up to 149℃, in the oxygen atmosphere its decomposition temperature is more than 270℃.
（2）excellent aging resistance, aging in the artificial accelerated aging box for a week its performance decline rate is less than 10%, ozone aging (38℃) for 100 hours its performance decline is less than 10%.
（3）excellent electrical properties, its permittivity at 1 KHZ is 1.3*10-4, 1 MHZ is 2.3*10-4; Volume resistivity is a minute 9 * 1016 Ω/cm; 2 minutes to 2 * 1017 Ω/cm.

（4）good solubility, blending performance and excellent oil charging, can dissolve in many common solvents, its solubility parameters between 7.2~9.6, can be mixed with a variety of polymers, can be used in the rubber industry commonly used oils, such as white oil or naphthene oil.
（5）without vulcanization can be used elastomer, processing performance is similar to SBS, waste material can be used again, in line with environmental requirements, non-toxic, in line with FDA requirements.  
（6）lighter than others, about 0.91, the same weight can produce more volume of the product.

四、  Processing method

SEBS blends can be made by thermoplastic processing methods such as injection, extrusion and blow molding. SEBS and SBS differ in product structure and processing temperature. In terms of processing temperature, SBS processing temperature is generally between 150 and 200℃, and SEBS is generally between 190 and 260℃. In SBS processing, the shear rate is required to be low, while in SEBS processing, the shear rate is required to be high. Injection molding, SBS generally use moderate shear rate, extrusion molding generally use low compression ratio of screw, and SEBS processing, should use high injection rate and high compression ratio of screw.

 

1、YH-501

The production of heat melt pressure-sensitive adhesive initial adhesion, peeling force moderate, good cohesion, can be used for the production of packaging protective film; Adding appropriate amount of SIS in YH-501 can effectively improve the initial adhesion and peeling strength of hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive, and can prepare high performance pressure-sensitive adhesive. The hot melt adhesive produced by YH-501 has the characteristics of good flow performance, good creep resistance, aging resistance and high cohesion strength, and can be used for the production of high-grade carpet and non-slip floor mat back glue. It can also produce hot melt adhesive for wood, paper, fiber, leather, metal, plastic, etc.

2、YH-502

The thermoplastic rubber YH-502 produced by yueyang baling petrochemical co., LTD has medium molecular weight, high processing elasticity and good transparency, suitable for plastic modification, shao A20~40 degree soft elastomer, transparent soft toys such as jelly candle and sheet material.

According to the requirements of hot sol viscosity, YH-502 can be mixed with SIS to produce hot sol and glass sealant.

YH-502 can be used for modification of some plastics, anti-vibration materials, etc., and can also be mixed with other brands to improve the balance of machinability and mechanical properties.

4、YH-503

Thermoplastic rubber YH-503 molecular weight is the highest in linear SEBS, with excellent mechanical properties under high filling and complete double INP network formed when mixing with PP, which is mainly used for blending products.

YH-503 is mainly used for the basic materials of blend elastomer, such as various coating materials, sealing strips, anti-vibration materials, road sign paint, other elastomer reinforcement, plastic toughening and modification, etc.

YH-503 can be blended with most plastics during processing, and different plastics have different influences on the properties of the final products. For example, when powdery PPO is added into YH-503 blend materials, the phase separation between styrene and butadiene is strengthened, and the temperature resistance, mechanical properties, rigidity and smooth surface of elastomer are significantly enhanced. When adding an appropriate amount of alpha-methyl styrene and acrylonitrile to the copolymer, the surface of the product is non-stick, so YH-503 should be used according to the application characteristics of the final product, strengthen its required performance.

5、YH-503T

Yueyang baling petrochemical company's new brand of SEBS desalination, this brand is SEBS produced by baling petrochemical company's desalination plant, also known as turbocharged SEBS, the T in 503T stands for desalination.

In the production of SEBS, products are prone to appearance color and processing yellow, and removing lithium and other impurities in SEBS is the key to solve the problem of SEBS product color and improve product quality. 5、YH-561

The thermoplastic rubber YH-561 produced by yueyang baling petrochemical company is specially developed for elastomer products with low hardness. Under the same oil charge rate, adopting YH-561 more production of the products surface is dry and not sticky ash, high hardness, even at 600% or more of the strain has excellent elastic recovery, the tensile strength is moderate, can meet the requirements of low hardness of the elastomer, mainly used for soft toys, especially suitable for toys plush ball), vibration plate, etc. It can also be used to blend elastomer with higher hardness. 11、YH-507

YH-507 can be self-adhesive by adding viscosifying resin, processing oil and other additives special material for protective film. The special material is used as double layer or multi-layer co-extrusion film (Adhesive layer in PE film)

SEBS/PE self-adhesive protective film is mainly used in the following

Industry:(1) hardware industry. Such as aluminum plate, stainless steel plate, plastic steel plate, glass plate, etc.
